One Bilbury Lane

Longacre was successful in winning an open market competition to secure a site being sold by

Bath and North East Somerset Council. The site (34-36 Stall Street) was previously a shop with redundant upper parts originally built in the 1790’s and extensively rebuilt in 1930’s and 1960’s.

This is a Grade 1 group of listed buildings situated across the street from the Abbey Churchyard and the Roman Baths.

Longacre successfully secured listed building consent and planning permission to reconfigure the upper parts into residential apartments, including achieving consent for a stunning penthouse apartment within the additional roof construction.

The vision and design skill of the Longacre team created a new rear entrance for the residential from the existing damp and dilapidated fire escape to the retail, creating a new address - One Bilbury Lane.
